The Bills finished with 224 rushing yards, 403 total yards and 30 points. Their defense complemented that offensive production by recording four sacks and holding New York to only 154 total yards.
The Jets had useful individual contributions. Fields rushed for 49 yards, Wilson caught four passes for 50 yards, and Taylor threw the team’s only touchdown. Yet those performances were not enough to overcome the lack of overall offensive production.
The most revealing numbers remain the total-yardage gap, the rushing advantage, the four-to-one sack difference, the 20-3 halftime score and the turnover difference.
Taken together, those statistics explain the 30-10 result far better than any single player line.
